The boys gathered every pillow in the house they could find and made a "hut" out of them. Although they did get put back in the correct places last night, they came back out first thing this morning-even before Justin was home from school.
Still the Super-Hero.
Mom took a picture of Justin, so she has to take a picture of me too!
This picture does not do justice to the dripping, sloshy state we are in. Every day we possibly can, Dave and I go on a walk, about a mile long. We had some interesting weather all day yesterday. Abbie had already been caught in it and we had laughed about it. Dave called on his way home and told me to get ready for our walk. I questioned his sanity. He questioned my level of whimpiness. So, we left the house under the small patch of sunlight shinning. I knew it wouldn't last. About a block away, the rain started again. Easy peasy. This IS Oregon. Another block down the road and it was pouring and we were drenched. Fifty feet later it was hailing. Yep. Hailing. Within seconds we were slipping around on the hail and sloshing in our shoes, jumping over the rivers in the gutters. My coat (RAIN coat) was so wet I kept wringing out the sleeves. Literally wringing the water out of them. Once the hail stopped, Dave kept pulling hail out of his pockets. Do you think this will make Dave think twice next time? Of course not. And, yes. We did finish the mile.
Spencer fell asleep on the floor during scriptures last night. No wonder it was so peaceful! He is clinging to Abbie's High School Musical Minnie Mouse. That's proof right there that she is growing up! That thing used to be untouchable and in a place of honor!
This picture is from this morning, although this happened last night. Justin slammed his thumb in the closet door. I couldn't believe how quickly the blood filled in! His nail was actually green at one point. Poor kid.
I guess it is also evident that he is going to eat pancakes like his mom. Butter, no syrup, and no plate :)
